Snow Ville

Today we went to Columbia with the Whites for a day at Edventure.
The museum had a special SnowVille exhibit,
complete with snowball launchers
 and sledding!
We played at the construction zone
Patrick created a great flyer with Gill
and then he and Finny made robots
 Sully sailed the seas
and made a puppet show!

Finn was a dentist
and all the kids had a great time
We were the first family to enter when the doors opened and the last to leave, five hours later, when Edventure closed.  Our family worked up quite an appetite and enjoyed pizza at the Mellow Mushroom before heading home.

Christmas Eve 2013

Our Christmas Eve started off with a surprise Reindeer Breakfast from Sam the Elf!
In the afternoon, we went to Christmas Eve Mass.

After church, we went to Nannie and Pop Pops for Christmas Eve Dinner.
Mom made a delicious dinner, complete with fish stew for the grown ups and meatballs for the boys!
Little hands couldn't resist Nannie's Christmas Cookies!
After getting home and putting on PJ's, the boys heard a noise and looked out the window to see... a christmas tree on our front yard.  Beautifully decorated and lit up, it was pure magic!  We all believe it must have bee Sam the Elf sending some extra Christmas Magic.

What a way to end Christmas Eve!

Christmas Bears

For the fourth year in a row, we visited the Leonard Bearstein Christmas Orchestra today. This time, we were joined by Melissa, Athena and Sebastian!

We could not get the five to pose for a picture...
mainly because they were too busy making each other laugh!
I'm not sure the kids actually watched very much of the Bear Show, but Melissa and I enjoyed it, and we all had fun being together!

Gingerbread House

Today was a construction day!  We built the most important house of the season - our gingerbread house!
Finn made a pattern for the "lights" on the roof, Patrick created a garage door on the back and Sully and Daddy both put wreaths on the house.
The finished product was One of a Kind!

Class Parties

Over the last week, all the boys have had Holiday class parties.
Sully's party was so sweet and fun.  Lia read a Christmas book to the class and then I had a craft ready.  The kids decorated Christmas Trees and each had their name on the star at the top.
Sully was so surprised and happy to see Daddy and Pop Pop come to the party!
Patrick and Finnegan's winter party was lots of fun.  I planned 5 stations for the kids to rotate thru: Pin the Nose on the Snowman, Build a Snowflake, Musical Chairs, Winter Word Find and Cupcake Decorating.  I wish I had more pictures, but the party kept me too busy to take pics.  The kids all had a great time, there was tons of laughter and silliness.
I love that all the classes got into the spirit and we ended the 2013 on a great note!
