Outdoor Fun

Today we beat the heat with lots of outdoor play with our friends.

We had water hockey, baby pools, a parachute, hot wheels car wash, water guns and more!

 I put up a sun-tent for the babes to sit under,

 but it was so hot that all the kiddos climbed in and ate ice pops from Johanna!

 When we had enough heat, we went in the kitchen to make pizzas for dinner.

 it was a fun afternoon that wore us all out!

Father's Day 2012

Today, the boys gave Gill a very special Father's Day.

Patrick, Finn and Sully had made special cards and pictures 

for their Daddy throughout the week.

While Daddy slept in, the boys helped me set the table for breakfast

 and get the special present out of hiding and ready for Gill.

 Boy, was Gill surprised!

 We enjoyed a yummy breakfast

 and then went for a bike ride, of course!

 In the afternoon, we went to MJ & Bernie's for some swimming, 

 before a beautiful and delicious dinner.

 Happy Father's Day!

What a Week!

The Boys and I had such a fun-filled week!

We used our imaginations at the Main Street Children's Museum.

 We created art at the Mint Museum and then explored the children's park uptown.

 We discovered the Museum of York County and had a great time 

learning about Nature and caring for the environment in the "Peanuts Naturally" Exhibit.

 We visited Nannie and Pop Pops - 

the big guys played golf while Sully, Nannie and I went to the playground.

 We ended the week with a visit to the fire department (with a pie)

 before our Family Gymboree Class.

I love days filled with trips and adventures.  I know that it will be far too soon that Patrick and Finnegan will be in kindergarten and our adventure times will be limited.  Going to take advantage of this special time together, just me and my guys.  

Now, I wonder what we'll do next week?!?!

End of the Season

 Our t-ball season ended this week with a really exciting game.  

The guys played hard, they hit, they ran, they may have lost, but they sure did try.

 They learned a good lesson, getting out hurts a lot less 

when you have Lizzy waiting to give you a hug!

 As usual, Sullivan was the bartender in the dugout - re-arranging the water cups.

 The cheering squad, Nannie and Pop Pop (Dressed in Shark Purple) with Gill - 

he assisted in every practice and game this season, what a great dad!

 Sully found a friend to dig in the dirt with!

 The team party was last night, so much fun - complete with trophies!

 Finn was so thrilled to get his special trophy, 

he smiled from ear to ear and told me it was the best trophy EVER!

 We are so proud of Finnegan and Patrick!
