Weekend Recap

This weekend was filled with Family fun activities.
We started off Saturday with Patrick and Sully's soccer games and were so excited that PopPop joined us for the games.  Because the boys tend to have games at the same time, this was the first of Sully (and Coach Gill's) games that I was able to see!
After the games we went to the neighborhood Boo Bash.  We painted pumpkins...
 Finny got his face painted...
the boys climbed some very high walls...
and we met some super cute friends!
After the bash, we enjoyed some fro-yo.
In the afternoon, Finnegan's buddy, Juan Pablo, came to play and join us for dinner.
After church on Sunday, Finn and I got to work on his big project.
He created a website to sell his artwork - www.etsy.com/shop/CoolArtByFinn
I'm so proud of the work he's doing.  Not only is Finnegan a wonderful artist, but a great entrepreneur!

We've Been Boo'd!

This is our first Halloween in our new home
and we spent all day last week decorating our house to look extra spooky!
We were thrilled to have a knock on our door late last night only to find that we were boo'd!
The boys were so excited by the balloons, halloween crafts, sweet treats and more.
I loved the pumpkin sweets and beautiful mums.
Tonight, we purchased all kinds of goodies, Finn made a sign, and we prepared to go Boo one of our neighbors.  With Ghost stakes in hand, the boys put on hoods and masks, grabbed their flashlights, and we went in the dark neighborhood.
We had a plan, snuck up stealthy to the house, executed it quietly, and ran squealing back to our house.  It was such a blast!

Oktoberfest 2015

Today I surprised Gill with an early birthday outing to celebrate his 45th Birthday.
While Mom and Dad took the boys to paint pottery and go to the movies, we went to the Charlotte Oktoberfest with our neighborhood friends.
The poor weather didn't stop us from enjoying an assortment of beers
(with over 300 beers to chose from there was no short of samples)
We enjoyed tons of beer, delicious food from the food trucks, and awesome games like Giant Jenga)
After 4 hours of Oktoberfest, our friends came back to our house for dinner, game night and beer!
Cheers to you, Gill!  Happy Birthday!!
(p.s. notice the awesome beer glass necklace and pretzel necklaces - I love beer accessories!)
