Dear Sullivan,
You have grown so much this past year and Daddy and I are so proud of you.
We love you and I'd like talk about all the things that you love:
You love the camera and every time I take it out, you always stop and say "cheese".
You love to eat. You are rarely seen without a snack in your hand or the remnants of one on your face. The best part of your appetite is your mature pallet. You refuse macaroni & cheese, but love penne with pesto and roasted chicken. You would NEVER eat a grilled cheese, but will eat my entire panini. You will eat anything, if it is dipped in hummus. You are for sure, the Family Foodie.
You love Gymboree. At least 5 times during each class, you run over and hug giant Gymbo. We have a great time in class, you love the music, and exploring the gym. Your favorite part of the class is bubble time, and are still hesitant when it's time to go under the parachute.
You have nice little friends to explore and learn with. Your weekly playgroup consists mainly of little boys, and all of you have a great love of vehicles.
You love the Poole/Kilcoyne playdates.
You get to play with your friend, Jenna, while watching the big kids go wild!
You love being with Liliana. Whether it's on the playground or we are out on adventure, you two are quite the pair. We joke that you act like an "old married couple". You do things to tease LaLa, and she says "no Sully" and make you correct your behavior. There is also a lot of kissing and hugging going on, there is no doubt, it's true love - Toddler Style!
You love Eric Carle. Your favorite books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. You know the books inside and out. If you ever come across the books, at a store, a friends home or a children's museum, we must immediately sit down and read them.
When we go for walks in the neighborhood, you love to hide behind the trees until I ask "where is Sully?" Once you hear me "look" for you, you run out, yelling "Boo Boo Boo". Each house in our neighborhood has a tree in front of it, that makes for a lot of games of hide and seek!
You love the playground. You try your hardest to keep up with Patrick and Finnegan, and most of the time you can. You have skipped over the toddler slides and zoom down the twirly ones with the big guys. You love the swings. When I push you, we sing the ABC's, when Patrick and Finnegan push you, you just yell "FAST!"
You love your brothers. It seems that the older you get, the smaller the gap between the 3 of you becomes. You can say both of their names "Finn Finn" and "Pat Pat". You know how (and love to) push their buttons. Your brothers are so patient with you and have taught you so much. You love what they love - Lightning McQueen, Thomas the Tank and Elmo, just to name a few.
You love to learn. I am so proud of all know and understand. You know your ABCs, colors, shapes and numbers. You can count to 13 and then skip to 18 & 19. When we are all coloring, you point and tell me what shape to make "circle, square, octagon, diamond, oval and star." You're learning more every day and it's amazing to witness. We can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Sullivan, you are such a wonderful little boy. You are sweet, strong willed and smart. You are a fantastic son and brother. You have completed our family and we love you with all our hearts.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Sully.
We love you!
Happy Birthday Sully. I have so enjoyed watching you grow. Just from pictures and the funny stuff you mom posts about you. Hope you have an awesome day and I know you will.
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with the little boy you are and the big boy you so strongly strive to be. You are sweet and clever, loving and strong-willed; just slow down and hold onto your 'fish' cup and hold onto your beloved Mommy.
ReplyDeleteI will patiently watch you grow and enjoy every moment as your Godmother.
Love, Aunt Sara
Happy Birthday Cutie Pie!!!!
