Birthday Blast Off!

Today we celebrated Patrick and Finnegan's 5th Birthday

We had an outer space birthday party at Space Kidets

 The first hour of the party was spent in four giant bounce houses.  

The kids, and adults, bounced and slid to the point of exhaustion!

Sully jumped like a 5 year old

 Even Nannie climbed in and bounced per Patrick's request.  

(But, I've promised her I won't post those pictures on the blog)

 Gill played the entire time -

All the dare devils slid down the giant slides (often head-first)

 Kids, big and little, played together.

After bouncing was over, it was time for birthday cake (and cupcakes)

The Birthday Boys sat in the giant rocket ship chair

 To top off the party we ended at the arcade.  

There was mini golf, Pac Man, Races, Air Hockey and more.

The adults played right along side of the kids, 

and we had to remind the dads to take turns!

Everyone left happy and tired - the sign of a great party.

What a way to celebrate a very happy Birthday!

Family Get Together

It seems like everyone is so busy these days that we rarely have time to catch up with our friends and their families.  

Today we spent a great afternoon at the Pluchos' beautiful new home.  

Melissa and Chris hosted a get-together so 5 families could spend some quality time together.

There was delicious food, fun games,

silliness,

 and lots of friends.

Outdoor Fun

Today we beat the heat with lots of outdoor play with our friends.

We had water hockey, baby pools, a parachute, hot wheels car wash, water guns and more!

 I put up a sun-tent for the babes to sit under,

 but it was so hot that all the kiddos climbed in and ate ice pops from Johanna!

 When we had enough heat, we went in the kitchen to make pizzas for dinner.

 it was a fun afternoon that wore us all out!

Father's Day 2012

Today, the boys gave Gill a very special Father's Day.

Patrick, Finn and Sully had made special cards and pictures 

for their Daddy throughout the week.

While Daddy slept in, the boys helped me set the table for breakfast

 and get the special present out of hiding and ready for Gill.

 Boy, was Gill surprised!

 We enjoyed a yummy breakfast

 and then went for a bike ride, of course!

 In the afternoon, we went to MJ & Bernie's for some swimming, 

 before a beautiful and delicious dinner.
