We've Got Spirit!!

This weekend we got into the Christmas Spirit, Big Time!

On Saturday morning, Johanna, Kelly, Kasey and I ran the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run.  We had a great cheering squad with adorable signs to cheer us on!
After the race, we decorated for Christmas.  The tree was up, the ornaments on and, of course, Thomas was chugging around the bottom.
In the evening, Gill and I went to the Charlotte Symphany with Kara and Andrew.  It was beyond wonderful.  The symphony was joined by the Charlotte Choir and Children's Choir and performed Christmas Music for two hours.  Amazing.
When the concert was over, we headed over to Spirit Square to see the Christmas Lights, the perfect ending to the night.
On Sunday, we went to the Rock Hill Christmasville Festival.

I'm not sure what a Ferris Wheel has to do with Christmas, but there was no talking the boys out of it.  It went on with Sully, as it was only 3 to a seat.  Sullivan had a blast and I was absolutely terrified.
The big guys and Gill got on right after us.
All the boys had a great time on the ride, not Mommy, though.
The Carousel Ride was much more my speed!

The town of Rock Hill brought in tons of snow for the 3-day festival, but by Sunday, most had melted. That did not stop Patrick from playing in the snow, ice and slush.  He had a blast, he played for about 30 minutes while Finn and Sully were golfing with Gill.  The smiles on his face say it all.
He was a happy, wet camper!
Finn and Sully, golfing buddies!
The weekend really got us into the Christmas Spirit.

WE'VE GOT SPIRIT, YES WE DO...
WE'VE GOT SPIRIT, HOW ABOUT YOU??
