Summer Fun Week 10

Make it Monday
Today, we finally made our lemonade stand.
We made 3 gallons of lemonade and finished decorating the stand
before setting up shop in our front yard.
The boys were excellent salesman and sold over $24 worth of lemonade.
At 50 cents a glass, that's a lot of lemonade!
Not only were neighbors stopping for drinks,
but Rebecca, Drew and Evan came to support our sale as well.
The boys chose to give the money to Habitat for Humanity.
We are really proud of the great job they did and the fun they had doing it!

Take a Trip Tuesday
We took a trip to the Reedy Creek Nature Center.
The boys explored the naturalist area first...
and Finn loved the reptiles, especially the black rat snake.
 After, we played outside...
we took a hike to Dragonfly Lake for a picnic by the water.
We really enjoyed the beautiful day and the sunshine!

Wednesday
Today we celebrated PopPop's Birthday.  After giving him his gifts (including an R2D2 Golf cover and Angry Birds Golf Balls) we had some fun!  With 3 grownups, and 3 kids, there was lots of one-on-one time.  I played tennis, Pop Pop played Golf and Nannie at the playground.  Then, the kids "rotated" from area to area.
After play time, Gill joined us for birthday dinner and ice cream cake.

Thursday
Bridget and Emily joined us today for playtime and a picnic at Freedom Park.
Even lunch is fun when you're with your friends!
