Today we drove up to Latta Plantation for an Easter Egg Hunt and family picnic.
We met up with The Riggenbachs for the morning's activities.
Patrick, Finnegan and Max hunted for eggs and had a great time.
Finnegan invented a new technique, he hung the basket around his next
so he could use both hands to pick up eggs.
Patrick found the grand prize egg and won a Family Membership to the Plantation!!
After the hunt, our families enjoyed lunch outdoors. The kids had a blast playing ball and running through the beautiful grounds.
In the afternoon, Finn and Patrick helped me make traditional Italian Easter Bread. They loved using the mixer and I think the finished product was very impressive!
Turns out that there was a "prize" inside the bread too, in my slice I found a Lightning McQueen sticker - go figure!
We had a wonderful time sharing Easter with you. Thank you so much for having us!! Your cooking continues to amaze us--so yummy!! And we loved observing all of the kids' festivities. But where oh where do you find all the energy?
