This week was an exciting one at the elementary school and we loved participating!
On Monday, all the kids dressed in school colors and showed their school spirit.
Tuesday was Luau Day - the boys dressed the part!
After school they worked on their cards for their teachers
and then we went back to school to go into a first grade classroom
and learn all about next year.
Wednesday was Crazy Clothes Day.
Patrick and Finnegan chose their own outfits - including different shoes, backwards shirts and pants/shirts pinned to their backs!
Wednesday night was filled with goodies for the next day.
Between the class party and teacher gifts,
there was lots of work to be done once the boys went to sleep.
Thursday was the End of Year Party.
We made friendship bracelets, picture frames, played pin the boats on the beach, musical chairs and enjoyed treats with the parents.
Horray for Kindergarten!
Friday was the last day of school.
Every friday morning Gill and the other "Hawk Dads" run the car line.
They always do fun "themes"and make every child feel special.
They always do fun "themes"and make every child feel special.
We made signs of appreciation for the great dads and put them on the mini-van.
The dads did a beach theme and Gill was running the line in his bathing suit!
After bringing Patrick and Finnegan through carline,
Sully and I walked inside with breakfast for the staff and set it up in the teachers lounge.
Later in the morning,
Sully and I returned to school and brought them a special lunch for their last day.
Sully and I anxiously awaited for the guys to get off the bus.
He had a special treat for them and all the neighborhood kids - popsicles!
Goodbye Kindergarten - hello Summer!
