I am proud....
that I brought three wonderful sons into the world
I am proud....
to know every bruise, bump and scar on their bodies
and to be the one who kisses them and makes it feel better.
I am proud...
to cheer on every new milestone they achieve
and to comfort them when they don't.
I am proud...
to be the first person they see when they wake up
and the last person to kiss them goodnight
I am proud...
that I never have to leave my boys
and of my career as a Stay at Home Mom
I am proud....
every time the boys say a kind word to a stranger
and when we get "asked" to leave the library
I am proud...
of who Finnegan, Patrick and Sullivan are
and who they will become
I am proud to be a Mother
Julie,
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! Find someone who does calligraphy (you probably do, yourself) and have them copy this, frame them, and give them to the boys when they turn 21.
Dorothy
Well, you should be proud - of them and of yourself! You are doing an amazing job with those boys and all of the love and happiness you have just shines through you. Love you!
