Apple Picking

Today, we went up to SkyTop Mountain for apple picking with friends.
Our expert apple pickers each had their own basket,
and the 3 boys picked over 22 pounds of apples.
(and ate a dozen apple-cider donuts)
Our adventure did not end after the orchard,
Gill found an airplane museum in Hendersonville
and we went and explored the hangar.
We ended our visit, as we did last year, with a visit to the town of Saluda.
The boys enjoyed ice cream on Main Street
and we browsed the market before heading home.
It was a great day, now I need to figure out what to do with all these apples!
