After school today I took the boys to
the Waxhaw SkateBoarding Park for the first time.
We brought their scooters and the boys had a blast.
They were racing over the hills, teaching each other tricks,
and making me VERY VERY nervous.

Sully got in on the action, too!
Once the high school boys arrived with their skateboards
and we watched them do their tricks before going to the playground.
Before we left, Patrick went right up to one of them and said "hey dude, want to see my tricks?" The kid was nice, and watched Patrick zip around the skate park.
It was an adventurous afternoon.
The boys want to go back soon with skateboards,
but I think we'll stick to our scooters a while longer!
