This weekend we had a very short, but great, visit with the Rodgers.
Mike, Nancy, Faye and Ella are on their way to France for an amazing family vacation.
Gill and I, while jealous, were so happy to find out that their layover from Arizona was in Charlotte!
I packed a picnic lunch for our families, we picked up the Rodgers from the airport and brought them to the Airport Overlook for lunch, playtime and a great view of all the planes taking off.
Aunt Nancy and GodFather Mike loved on Sully...
we all enjoyed lunch, including Chardonnay for Nancy - it's French, don't ya know!
Faye is such a wonderful "Little Mommy" - she cared for Sully...
and made sure Finnegan was safe when we crossed the parking lot.
Ella taught the boys some of her Karate skills -
luckily they weren't kicking each other, just an unsuspecting tree.
