Today, we celebrated Gill and what a wonderful dad he is. If you haven't figured out by reading my blog, the boys ADORE their daddy.
It started off with a HUGE gift for daddy - all 3 slept until 8am!
(I hate to sound selfish, but man, I would love that gift someday.)
We had breakfast in bed for Gill,
including had painted coffee mugs made by Patrick and Finnegan.
Then, we hit the road for Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC. This park has all kinds of kid-friendly attractions and was a perfect spot to spend the morning.
The boys spotted the Carousel immediately and loved riding with Gill. Sully and I watched by the sidelines as they went round and round, waving to me every time they went by.
We visited the Nature Center and the boys explored all kinds of creepy crawlies.
We found a nice, shaded picnic table and we enjoyed a family lunch.
Happy Sullivan, after having is bottle.
Finnegan licking the chocolate off his fingers after he enjoyed one of Daddy's favorite cookies.
Dipping is too much fun...
After Lunch we went to the little railroad. The boys were so excited to Ride The Rails!
I told Patrick what this sign meant, he told me he as so sad for Maggie.
Patrick, Finn and Gill had a private train ride and had so much fun that they went again!
What a great day!
Happy Father's Day, Gill. We love you!
