Weekend Recap

This weekend was full of new experiences...

On Saturday morning, I ran a 5k in the Race for Fetal Hope.
After, the boys joined me for the race festival.
We had a blast launching "frogs" onto "lilly pads"

and the boys had their first taste of cotton candy.
It was no surprise that Finnegan loved the sweet treat
while Patrick took one taste, noticed his sticky hands and turned it away.

In the afternoon, we went to Borders in South Park to support our friend and neighbor,
Marc Douglas, at the book signing for his new book.

Sunday morning, we joined the Weltz family for breakfast and then headed to preschool for a special service blessing the students and teachers for the school year.

It was such a special way to be welcomed into the community and kick off the school year.

In the afternoon, after Patrick and Finnegan raced their tricycles...

and Sully posed for some pictures in the wagon...

the Big Boys were treated to a special surprise when Uncle Brian let them "ride" his new motorcycle. They loved every minute - especially when Brian turned on the engine and let the boys honk the horn!

What a fantastic weekend!
