Christmas Pageant

Today was the Patrick and Finnegan's Preschool Christmas Pageant.
Everyone was all dressed up and ready for the big day!
Sully waited (impatiently) with Daddy's iPad for the show to begin.
and even had some very special friends sitting with us - Johanna, Liliana, Ana and Alex.
Patrick was Wise Man #2 and brought Frankincense to Baby Jesus.
Finnegan was Joseph and helped Mary (Ginny) to the stable by carrying a cut out donkey!
The pageant was wonderful, the boys remembered all their lines,
sang beautiful songs and made us all so proud!
The pageant was followed by a cookie reception for the families.
Sully and Lil amused themselves with cookies and a water fountain
Patrick and Finn finally got to see Nannie and PopPop
who travelled from NJ to be there for the performance,
and wish their teacher a Merry Christmas before vacation.
After the show our families (Kilcoyne, Weltz, Massari and Spencers) went to our home for a luncheon.
The party favor was a Christmas Ornament with a tree on one side and the names of our kids and their roles in the pageant on the other.  I hope that the kids will hang it on their own trees one day.
We had a great afternoon with our friends and families...
 playing with penguins...
 having cookies....
 cuddling with grandparents...
 and holding sweet babies.
(Finnegan was so thrilled to hold Alex for the first time)
It was such a fantastic day.
We are so proud of Lizzy, Ginny, Patrick and Finnegan!

That looks like an absolutely great pageant. Here they won't let the kids do anything that has religious connotations. Holiday parties only, nothing to do with Jesus. I'm glad your boys could be Joseph and a Wise Man, and your parents got to come. What fun!
