Today, I took the big guys to see the Nutcracker at the Matthews Community Center.
Sara gave was so kind and gave us the tickets. As a little girl, my family would go ever year to see the Ballet at the PaperMill Playhouse, so it was a perfect way to continue the tradition with my own children.
We got all dressed up for the big show....
the boys each held their ticket in the car and gave it to the usher.
We found great seats and read the programs.
The boys had some really funny comments during the show:
Patrick - "Wait a minute, why are they doing ballet?"
Finnegan - "Why aren't they talking, did they forget their lines?"
Patrick - "Why is that girl dressed up like the Nutcracker? Isn't he a boy?"
They may have had many questions,
but they really soaked up the experience and talked about it for the rest of the night.
